CCLI 2023 Code of Conduct (COC)
Principles
The CCLI Steering Committee is committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive, respectful, and enjoyable environment. As strong advocates of, and participants in, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives in our respective institutions, we are determined to bring those values to our annual conference.
We ask that all CCLI participants respect and hold space for each other’s voices and narratives and do this intentionally for those participants and presenters from marginalized communities. One way to do this is to elevate voices from marginalized groups, for example refraining from dominating a discussion if you are from a privileged group and/or avoiding speaking multiple times, especially if others have not yet spoken.
Reporting Harassment or Violations
Harassment is any verbal, non-verbal, or physical contact that threatens, intimidates, silences, or coerces. Harassment will not be tolerated, and CCLI is prepared to employ a variety of strategies in cases of unethical behavior or harassment. If at any point during CCLI you feel uncomfortable or harassed, or if you witness any violations of this Code of Conduct, please reach out to anyone who has introduced themselves as a CCLI Steering Committee member. You may also identify Steering Committee members by their name tags.
COVID Protocols
As we resume our in-person annual conference, we are requiring adherence to health and safety measures, in combination with the measures the University of San Francisco is already taking to continue to protect the health of all attendees. All attendees must be vaccinated and have received at least one booster shot against COVID-19. Masks will be required of all participants, with exceptions only for presenters if needed, or for brief eating or drinking. Meals will be served outside, weather permitting.
